The Walls
Our garden building walls are 80mm thick and consist of 5 layers of natural and composite materials, designed to keep heat in and moisture out.
The modular wall sections sit squarely on the steel frame and are secured with high tensile plated bolts through the steel section.
Once all the joints are sealed, the side sections are clad on site with superior grade 22mm thick Redwood spruce shiplap, sourced from sustainable Scandinavian forests. The cladding is pressure treated using a tanalising process with a non toxic, non hazardous preservative. No further treatment is required to preserve the wood against rot. All external cladding is guarranteed rot proof for 15 years.
We select single length boarding where possible. This results in an unbroken pattern, maintaining the clean lines of the building and ensuring that the outside of the building will resist the weather for years to come.
